Alexor Alarm Review

Most wireless alarm systems have incorporated the control panel, keypad and siren into one location. This makes installation very easy but it also poses a new problem. The control panel can be potentially disabled quickly by the intruder. The Alexor panel has a control panel that is located separately from the keypad. The keypad is still a wireless device but is located in a separate location from the actual control panel. This allows easy installation, greater protection but is still completely wireless.

Security and Fire Protection

This system is primarily a security alarm but easily incorporates fire protection. The system supports every type of home security device that you will ever need for the protection of your home. Just look at the list of impressive features:

  • Supports up to 32 wireless zones
  • Supports 2 wired zones
  • Use up to 16 wireless keys
  • Supports wireless smoke detectors
  • Wireless carbon Monoxide Detection

  • Door and Window Contacts
  • 4 Wireless Keypads

You can have up to 16 separate user codes, a master code and a maintenance code. It can even call up to 4 phone numbers.

DIY Programming

The programming of the wireless devices is quick and easy. Enrollment of the devices is very quick utilizing the built in template programming. The device serial numbers are not manually entered but instead there is a series of enrollment screens that confirm the electronic serial numbers.

Control Panel Communication

The Alexor panel supports traditional phone lines or it also has the capability of GSM and IP communication. These can be used as a primary form of monitoring or as a back to your phone line.
